We've seen some bad challenges in our time, but this one is right up there.

Felipe Melo went full MMA in this high-kick challenge on Lucas Biglia in the clash between Inter Milan and Lazio. It's what's known in the fight game as an 'axe kick' - but Inter's Melo inexplicably pulled it out in the middle of a Serie A football match. Needless to say he was given his marching orders following the 90th minute challenge and saw his side slump to a 2-1 home defeat from the stands.
