Hearing of Jetin's story and his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, photographer Omar Havana and Portuguese-based journalist Magarida Mota decided to get in touch with the Real Madrid man.
Eventually they were successful when Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes passed on their message. A signed Real Madrid shirt was dispatched carrying the message "Jetin be strong, best wishes. Cristiano Ronaldo".
A small gesture, but look at the smile it's brought to this child's face. A nice touch from Ronaldo, but let's not forget the other people that went out of their way to make this happen. Perhaps they deserve even more credit.
