Just one goal needed.

Let's try and be positive here. Poland lead 2-1 at the interval and Ireland need a 2-2 draw to secure automatic qualification for the European Championships in France next summer. It's been scratchy stuff from the Irish but the hope is that the kind of nerves we've suffered from all day hit the Poles about the 60 minute mark and we can sneak an equaliser. It's been another tense 45 minutes of football in Warsaw - here's how Twitter saw it... It didn't take long for Poland to snatch the lead. https://twitter.com/RichieSadlier/status/653283629993472000 But we were still watching the replays when Ireland were awarded a penalty. https://twitter.com/eaamalyon/status/653284072463200256 Leaving only one question... who takes our penalties? https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/653283920264491008 Jon Walters is the answer, and he makes no mistake from the spot. 1-1. https://twitter.com/PaddyMcKenna/status/653284341125120000 https://twitter.com/StanCollymore/status/653284180562984960 Almost straight away Poland have the ball in the net again after some sloppy Irish defending (again) but thankfully it's chalked off. https://twitter.com/kenearlys/status/653284629697429505 https://twitter.com/MiguelDelaney/status/653284651033870336 https://twitter.com/conor_pope/status/653284824552226816 Mostly, people were just a bit confused. https://twitter.com/stephenhunt1010/status/653284681836797952 https://twitter.com/dionfanning/status/653284670898053120 https://twitter.com/johngosullivan/status/653284700694421504 https://twitter.com/dannykellywords/status/653284681908121600 https://twitter.com/bazlyons/status/653284769267105792 https://twitter.com/brianmlucey/status/653284799096954880 Lewandowski's header put Poland back in front, though it didn't really change Ireland's task. https://twitter.com/JamesMawFFT/status/653290824688660480 https://twitter.com/alansmith90/status/653290820896980993
