As big-money signings continue to disappoint in the Premier League this season, many teams will be looking to nab a Bosman signing or two over the summer.
The likes of Memphis and Pedro look like a huge waste of money, while Leicester have flourished since free transfer Christian Fuchs came into the first team.
Fuchs, along with Swansea's Andre Ayew and Crystal Palace forward Emmanuel Adebayor, has shown that there's value in the free transfer market.
But stats from freebie site MagicFreebies.co.uk show that even Ayew has some way to go to compete with the most prolific free agent.
Demba Ba leads the way in that regard, scoring 16 times after joining Newcastle United on a free from West Ham in 2011, while Stoke's Mame Biram Diouf isn't too far behind.
We wouldn't put it past a few Premier League managers to unearth some more gems for nothing over the summer.
