Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will travel to St James' Park for the early kick off on Saturday but will be without several key players as they take on Newcastle.
Rodri was forced off through injury against Arsenal last weekend and it was later confirmed that he will be out for the best part of nine months with an ACL injury.
Kevin de Bruyne remains a doubt for Guardiola after sustaining a suspected hamstring injury in City's draw with Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, Eddie Howe is hoping his team can bounce back from last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Fulham.
Howe also has injury woes as Callum Wilson is not expected back until mid-October while Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles are long-term absentees.
Later in the day, the chasing pack will get underway as Liverpool travel to Wolves while Arsenal host Leicester.
Kick off is at 12.30pm and the game will be available to watch on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate.
