TABLE: Martin O’Neill will be the ninth highest paid manager at Euro 2016

It's hard to quantify how valuable a manager is to a side but if you're going by annual salaries, Martin O'Neill is somewhere between a Petković and a Santos.

According to research compiled by Portuguese football finance experts @FinanceFootball, the Republic of Ireland manager is the ninth highest paid of all 24 managers who will be in charge at this summer's Euro 2016. O'Neill is reportedly on an annual salary of €1 million which, interestingly, has him higher on the list than Wales manager Chris Coleman, Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill and Poland boss Adam Nawałka. The only salary that isn't specified is that of Hungary boss Bernd Storck while the only manager who has agreed to work free of charge is selfless ol' Leonid Slutsky.
