As we know only too well, picking winners in football is hard, and as for picking winners when it comes to international friendlies a phrase with the words 'pissing' and 'wind' springs to mind. But it seems it isn't nearly as impossible as we thought. Karla Drew, a student in Sheffield who is also a budding heptathlete, landed a frankly ridiculous bet last night, pocketing the sort of winnings that means she won't have to worry about paying off her student loan anyway.
