How many heads does Alex Ferguson still live inside?
The former Manchester United manager made a habit of planting seeds of doubt in the brainboxes of players, managers and referees. Even Mrs. Ferguson must have fallen victim to a few of Fergie's mind games. Steven Gerrard certainly did as he's revealed the one question he would ask Ferguson if given the chance.
"Do you really think I'm average?"
That's what Gerrard would ask Fergie according to an interview in the Daily Mail. The question is in reference to a comment from Ferguson's 2013 autobiography in which he writes: "I am one of the few who felt Gerrard was not a top player."
That quote hasn't stopped Gerrard's fascination with Ferguson, though, as he included the ex-United boss in his dream dinner party which includes some familiar names.
"Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Rafa Benitez — and Jamie Carragher to really stir up the shit between them!"
