The Reds captain made his first-team debut on 29 November 1998 with a substitute appearance against Blackburn and 699 games later, he is thought to be one of the greatest Liverpool players to ever pull the famous jersey on.

Gerrard, who is set to leave Anfield for L.A. Galaxy at the end of the season, is currently third in Liverpool's all-time appearance stakes behind Jamie Carragher (737) and Ian Callaghan (857).
Unless a loan deal takes place, this season could very well be the last we see of the former England captain who will be hopeful that his last game for Liverpool comes in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 30 May, the same day he turns 35.
