STAT: Jesse Lingard’s goal was a strange first for Manchester United this year

2015, for Manchester United, has been the year of trying to walk the ball into the net.

An unbelievable record was broken when Jesse Lingard placed the ball out of the reach of Boaz Myhill from 20 yards out during United's 2-0 victory over West Brom on Saturday afternoon. The goal was actually the first time in 2015 that the Red Devils have actually scored a Premier League goal from outside the box.
