Manuel Pellegrini's team are still without a handful of injury victims, most notably Kevin de Bruyne and Fabian Delph, but the Chilean coach has been able to name a very strong starting XI.
City make just one change from the team which lost at home to Tottenham Hotspur in their last league outing, with Bacary Sagna returning from injury to replace Pablo Zabaleta at right-back.
