David Ginola and Graeme Souness criticised Jordan Pickford's positioning for West Ham's opening goal as Everton lost 2-1 at the London Stadium.
Both pundits thought Aaron Cresswell's free kick could have been saved by Pickford if he had positioned himself correctly before the set piece was taken.
The defeat leaves the Toffees 17th, three points off Burnley in the relegation zone, who they play on Wednesday at Turf Moor in a relegation six-pointer.

Ginola focused the blame on England's number one goalkeeper for the opening goal. He highlighted Pickford's positioning in comparision to the goalline.
The former Newcastle midfielder reckoned the 28-year-old was too slow to save Cresswell's effort. Ginola stated there was a 90 per cent chance the keeper would stop the goal if his positioning was correct.
“Look at his feet, he’s not on the goal line. He doesn’t move and it’s too late,” Ginola said on Sky Sports.
“There’s a 90 per cent chance the ‘keeper would save the ball (in that corner). You know it, as a goalkeeper, you do. It’s weird.”
Fellow pundit, Jermaine Defoe disagreed with Ginola's argument stating, “You’re not saving that.”
Graeme Souness agrees with Ginola's point.
Souness understood where the Frenchman was coming from, adding his own sinopsis to Pickford not stopping the free kick.
The former Liverpool manager claimed Pickford didn't move cause he couldn't see the shot, due to the positioning of his wall.
“I get David’s point when he says (Pickford) doesn’t move because he can’t see it," Souness spoke on Sky Sports.
“When it’s kicked, he can’t see it so he’s guessed it going there and he’s just diving into mid-air and gets nowhere near it.”
