Some Manchester United fans are genuinely upset Memphis Depay’s spending Valentine’s Day with his girlfriend

We don't think they like your new jacket, Memphis.

Memphis Depay may be put off professing his love for his girlfriend on social media after the reaction his Valentine's Day post has gotten on Twitter. Depay uploaded a photo of himself and Lori Harvey on Instagram, with the Dutch footballer wearing a jacket that looks like he picked it straight out of the serial killer's uniform catalogue, with his other half's face blown up and emblazoned on the back of it.

However, spirits are not high among the Red Devils at the moment following their 2-1 defeat to Sunderland on Saturday. The result left them six points adrift of fourth place and it appears some fans are still unhappy with Memphis Depay's contribution in the game (he was a late substitute) and indeed throughout the entire season. Some fans let loose on the Dutch winger, who turned 22 on Saturday, for uploading the photo showing that he is spending time with his girlfriend on Valentine's. Some of them argue that the time would be better spent improving on the training ground while others seem bitter that he doesn't appear to love the club as much as Ms Harvey.
