Let he has reported a sports news story based on a tweet from an account purporting to be from a footballer cast the first stone.

Sky Sports and Portuguese publication A Bola both, unfortunately, fell for the newest oldest trick in the book, over the weekend. The organisations ran with a story about Keane praising Portugual Under-21 midfielder William Carvalho and urging Premier League sides to sign him up. Problem is, Keane is not on Twitter with a verified account. https://twitter.com/RoyKeane__/status/614879158661857280 Sky Sports have since deleted the segment [above] of their transfer round-up but A Bola continue to run with the piece. One look at the users Twitter bio should have quelled the story in the first place. 'Sky sources report... '
