16-year-old Izzy Dezu collapsed during a game on Tuesday night and passed away.
The Shelbourne Academy prospect was playing against St. Kevin's at the Athletic Union League Complex in Dublin when he collapsed.
The exact cause of his death is not yet known but the club released a statement to confirm the tragic incident.

Paramedics from Dublin Fire Brigade worked on the youth for some time at the pitch in Clonshaugh Road before he was brought by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Condolences and tributes have been pouring in for the young man with such a bright future and the opposition on Tuesday night, St. Kevin's, also passed on their thoughts.
