Guess who's back?

Shay Given's back. The real one, not the guy who rang into Sky Sports. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/714391330596716544 September 22 was the last club game Shay Given featured in, when he kept a clean sheet in the Capital One Cup against Fulham. He was still playing for Ireland at that stage but an injury sustained in the first half of the Germany game in October saw him helped off and, with that, Darren Randolph came of age. Fast forward to April 18 though and the Donegal man is back. https://twitter.com/stokecity/status/722123940575985665 It was thought that the injury of Jack Butland would see Given push for a place in the club team again and, ahead of the game with Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, Mark Hughes has recalled the Republic of Ireland international. With Rob Elliott missing the Euros, Darren Randolph not starting for West Ham, David Forde way down the pecking order and Keiren Westwood still taking his time in moving up the Ireland power rankings, Shay Given's late charge for a place in Martin O'Neill's squad - maybe even the team - starts with a crunch clash with Spurs. He's back. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/722121481086509056
