Serge Gnabry takes van Dijk for a ride and rifles shot into top corner

One of the most impressive facets of Virgil van Dijk's season has been the statistic that he has not been dribbled past in either the Premier League or the Champions League.

Liverpool have the best defence in the Premier League this season and van Dijk has played an instrumental role in their improvement in that area but on Sunday night in Amsterdam he got taken for a ride by the Bayern Munich winger. The former Arsenal wideman had a forgettable spell during his time in England but he has been a revelation for the German national team with five goals in six games. The 23-year-old picked up the ball behind the Dutch defence and broke down the left wing before cutting inside, skipping by van Dijk and burying a powerful right-footed shot past the outstretched Jasper Cillessen and into the back of the net.
