It has been eight days since his international debut.

But Sean Maguire's purple patch hasn't ended there. The former Cork City player has settled in nicely since moving over to Preston during the summer with a few goals to his name making it impossible for Martin O'Neill not to call him up. And the 23-year-old's run of form continued right up to this weekend with Preston. Playing mid-table Fulham, Maguire assisted Jordan Hugill's opener as they went up 1-0 in the 18th minute but it didn't stop there.
