The Ireland captain kicked his first ball in 10 months last week when he played for the Everton under-23s in a game against Portsmouth.
This evening, the Donegal man is back in the big time as he has been named at right back on the Everton team that hosts Leicester City in Goodison Park in the Premier League.
It comes as a surprise that the Killybegs native has been thrown straight back into the action by Sam Allardyce. He only played for 45 minutes in that game last week, and he's only back in full training a couple of weeks but it obviously reflects his, Coleman's and the Everton medical staff's confidence that he is now fully fit.

It was a long 10 months for Coleman. It was a long ten months for Republic of Ireland supporters.
Coleman spent that period recovering from that horrific double-leg break he suffered during an Ireland game against Wales in the Aviva Stadium. That was in March 2017.
Everton welcomed Coleman back by placing a Coleman flag on every seat in Goodison Park.
