Sami Khedira responds to report claiming he revealed Emre Can’s next club

Sami Khedira has wholly rejected claims that he shed any light on Emre Can's playing future.

A Sports Illustrated report credited Khedira with confirming Juventus as Can's next club, with the Liverpool midfielder holding out on signing a new contract with the Merseyside outfit. Can has been linked with a move to Juventus for months but Khedira, who is an international compatriot of Can's, has denied that he has any knowledge of his fellow German international's plans. "We are in talks with him and it's all good so far - apart from him signing a contract. That's all," Klopp said last week. Can moved to Liverpool in 2014 and has made 162 appearances for the club.
