Ryan Reynolds has confirmed what he is prepared to do to get Gareth Bale to sign for Wrexham.
The Welshman retired from football last summer after finishing his illustrious career with a short spell at Los Angeles FC.
He came through the ranks at Southampton as a youngster, but it was at Tottenham and Real Madrid that he really made his name.
There Bale went on to win three La Liga titles, five Champions League trophies – winning one of each last season – plus three UEFA Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups, the Copa Del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.

After winning promotion back into the league, Wrexham are already looking to add reinforcements to their squad to continue the push toward the top.
Owner Rob McElhenney contacted Bale – who seems to be enjoying a lot of golf in retirement – after the Welsh superstar congratulated the team on winning the National League.
He said: “Let’s play golf, where I totally won’t spend 4 hours trying to convince you to un-retire for one last magical season”, to which Bale replied: “Depends what course”, tagging the R&A, which organise the annual Open Championship.

Reynolds also chipped in, trying his best to convince Bale to get involved. He wrote: “I will shave a professional-grade golf course into Rob’s back if you’ll give Wrexham a season.”
But it turns out the plans might have been a little too ambitious.

The Hollywood star followed up with: “Update: after an online image search, it appears Rob does not have the requisite body hair to support this plan,” he added.
