It's safe to say that Manchester United fans were hoping for a little bit more from Memphis Depay.
While the Dutchman has looked impressive in the Champions League, he's only scored once in eight appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal will almost certainly persevere with the winger but it's emerged that assistant manager Ryan Giggs pulled Depay to one side for some advice after his dreadful showing at the Emirates last weekend.

The Sunday People report that Giggs has had a word with the 21-year-old and warned him to tone down his lavish off-the-pitch lifestyle as it's beginning to impact his performances.
Depay is "photographed out and about more than other players and that’s not gone unnoticed," according to the report and "he’s been told to keep his head down a bit while his football catches up with the rest of his profile."
Giggs was renowned for having a similar lifestyle in his early days as a Manchester United player so he's speaking from experience.

But can the advice come between Depay and his never-ending love of ridiculous hats? Only time will tell.
