Ruben Amorim's sudden sacking as manager of Manchester United has thrown the club and fans into turmoil.
There are pockets of supporters who have slammed the decision from the club, following years of failed bosses since Alex Ferguson left in 2013, but most are glad to see the back of the Portuguese man.
And when you look at some of the stats behind his reign, it is hard to argue with them.
Amorim has the worst win percentage, with 32%, of any Man United boss in the Premier League era.
It is worse than the much-maligned Erik ten Hag (54.69%) and even Ralf Ragnick (37.93%).
Of all the shocking statistics this is by far the most damning.
The most embarrassing loss of the tenure was the second-round EFL Cup defeat to Grimsby Town.
The League Two side took an early 2-0 lead before winning 12-11 on penalties after getting clawed back to 2-2 in normal time.
It turns out that it is the most financially lopsided loss in the history of English football, with United’s squad valued at 257 times more than the Cleethorpes side.
Of any Man United boss in the Premier League era, Amorim has the worst goals conceded per game ration at 1.53.
If he had shored up the defence it may have been a saving grace for him, but with a misfiring attack on top of a leaky defence, it has simply not been good enough.
During his era at the club, Amorim spent a total of £290 million on new players.
His expensive attacking trio of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo have not worked out as well as he would have wanted, with Sesko being particularly disappointing.
In total, his spending has worked out at £5m per Premier League point.
Last season, the Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League, after Amorim took over in November of 2024.
It is their lowest league finish since they suffered relegation under Tommy Docherty in the 1973-1974 season.
With a clean-sheet ratio of just 15% under the former Sporting CP boss, it the worst record any Man United manager has had in the Premier League.
In Amorim's defence, however, he did not sign the shambles that was goalkeeper Andre Onana.
In a slightly more obscure stat, out of Premier League sides from the past two seasons - not including last season's relegated sides or this season's promoted sides - Amorim's United are fourth last with just 58 points and 15 wins.
Only Spurs, West Ham and Wolves are behind them.
Unsurprisingly, United's away record under Amorim has conjured up some worrying stats.
For the first time in the Premier League, they have gone 15 games away from home without keeping a clean sheet.
A remarkable 103 year-old record was broken at the start of this season.
With five losses in their first eight Premier League games, it was United's worst start since the 1920s.
Finishing his tenure with a Premier League record of 1.24 points per game puts Amorim alongside some eye-opening names.
As was pointed out by journalist Daniel Storey, this puts him down there with the likes of Chris Coleman, Alan Pardew and Bruno Lage.
