RTÉ Sport have named a shortlist of six nominees for the RTÉ Sport Team of the Year Award.
The prize was set up to celebrate "outstanding collaborative achievement by Irish sportspeople" and will be decided by a public vote, the results of which will be unveiled live on RTÉ One on Sunday 21 December.
The nominees for the honour include the Irish men's rugby team, the Kerry football team, the Kilkenny hurling team, Dundalk FC, the Cork Ladies Football team and the Cork camogie team.
All teams have had historic years and it's hard to make an argument for any of them to be more deserving than any other.
The nominees for Sports Person of the Year, as well as Manager of the Year, will be announced on 'Sunday Sport' on RTÉ Radio 1 this weekend and the winners will also be revealed on the night of the awards.
