Roy Keane defended Paul Pogba with a brilliant line

France are world champions.

They overcame Croatia in an entertaining final in Moscow on Sunday afternoon, winning 4-2. France opened the scoring after Antoine Griezmann's free-kick deflected off Mario Mandzukic early in the first-half. Ivan Perisic equalised with a brilliant strike. However, France went back ahead when they were awarded a penalty for a handball in the Croatian penalty area. From there, France never looked like losing. Didier Deschamps side went further ahead through goals from Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe in the second-half. Even a late howler by Hugo Lloris couldn't prevent France from claiming their second World Cup 20-years after they first won the trophy. Following the final whistle, France's players were understandably delirious. However, Keane didn't bite. "I don’t mind Pogba dancing now," the former Ireland captain said.

"He's entitled to it. I don't mind Pogba dancing. He's won a World Cup. He can do whatever the hell he wants."
