Roy Keane slams Marcus Rashford for ‘playing like a child’ against Liverpool

Roy Keane criticised three Manchester United players after the Red Devils' dismal defeat to rivals Liverpool, claiming Marcus Rashford 'played like a child.' United suffered a 4-0 thrashing at Anfield on Tuesday night, with Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane all finding the back of the net.

Keane slammed several of Man United's players.

The Red Devils' ninth league defeat of the season led to club legend Keane slamming his former team at full-time, criticising Jesse Lingard and Rashford's performances, while also questioning captain Harry Maguire's defending.

"Jesse Lingard comes on!" Keane said on Sky Sports.

"Jesse Lingard coming on to try and save Man United, Jesse Lingard should have left Man United two years ago, he’s not good enough for Man United.

Ralf Rangnick's side - who suffered a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier in the season - dropped to sixth in the Premier League table, three points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Keane says it's a 'long way back' for Man United.

Keane also insisted that it's a long way back for his old side to be challenging for titles once again, blasting the players for having a lack of 'pride'. He added: "There’s no surprise at the result. Over the two games this season it’s 9-0 to Liverpool.
