Many Irish fans would be content for Roy Keane to join Celtic after Euro 2016

The big question surely is, 'Does Roy Keane want to manage Celtic?'

The Corkman was asked the question, earlier this week, after the departure of current coach Ronny Deila was announced. In typical Keane fashion, he shot thunderbolts at the inquisitor before softening ever so slightly. The reply, "I've two jobs. UTV and Ireland. No comment." Still, that has not led to Keane's name falling down the pecking order. David Moyes is the current favourite to take over at Celtic Park while Neil Lennon is currently encircling his former stomping ground with a 'HIRE ME!' placard. Keane has openly stated his desire to return to full-time management sooner rather than later. He is most likely to reassess his options after this summer's Euro 2016 championships. Irish football fans are not a greedy lot - all we ask for is qualification for every major championship, flair football and an elixir of youth for Robbie Keane. Maybe that is why so many of you believe Keane will head back to club management next season. The two 'yes' options tot up to 59% but, interestingly, the second highest poll return describes Celtic as a 'graveyard of ambition'. If they do want Keane, Celtic may have to wait until July (hopefully mid July) to install him.
