Roy Keane loses it with Ian Wright during epic Man United rant

"I've had enough of that rubbish, man!"

Keane focused his fury on Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes, and got into a heated row with Ian Wright, who defended the Portuguese midfielder.

Wright argued that Bruno is one of the few positive aspects of the current Man United team, who are languishing in 14th place in the Premier League.

The former Arsenal striker said that, with the midfielder, Ruben Amorim's side would be in a relegation battle.

Keane, however, passionately argued that Fernandes needed to do more and that talent alone 'is not enough.'

"They draw at Everton, it's like they won the cup. It's f**king bizarre," Keane said about the 2-2 draw with Everton at Goodison Park last week.

"I see fans at matches and they're singing for Bruno. And I see these boys and I'm thinking, 'You're f*cking imposters'."

"Wrighty. No, no, no. Do you know what, Wrighty, I've had enough of that rubbish man!

"No, come on Roy. No, bro, not Bruno," replied Wright.

"Who brought them back into the game? Who's bringing you back? Bruno is somebody who can actually do something to save you lot."

"We watched them in the FA Cup a few weeks ago," Keane said.

"I watched them at Everton on Saturday. People pretend to be closing people down."

"Save us, they're 15th in the league, and he's saving them? Praise the lord. Bruno is a talented player but talent is not enough. What's he saving? 2-2 at Everton."

"If Bruno's not there, United are in the relegation places. It's not all on Bruno," Wright responded.

Keane, however, said that Bruno must take responsibility as the team's captain.

"Where do you start then? If we start on a young lad, you can't start on him, he's young," the former United captain said.

"You can't start on a foreign player, he's new to the league - (Harry) Maguire the other day, he couldn't even jump.

"Forget the board and all that for a second. The players will walk on the pitch, so who do you start pointing fingers at?

"At some stage, players have to look at themselves in the mirror. Listen, you're 15th, 16th in the league

"You sit here every week going Tony Adams was amazing. That's the captain we expect," Keane said to Wright.

"You say, who am I starting with, well I'm not starting with Bruno," said Wright.

"Of course you're not, who are you starting with then? The goalkeeper? Would you have a go at Maguire or are you too pally with people?

"I'm not pally with anyone," said Wright."

"I'm not saying you were, I'm just putting it out there," replied Keane.

"I've done my bit. F*ck off."

Fernandes was the key player for Man United on Wednesday night as they recorded a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town, despite being reduced to 10 players following Patrick Dorgu's red card.

The Red Devils skipper set up two goals in the match.
