Roy Keane shoots down Arsenal claims after Man United defeat

Roy Keane refused to accept that Arsenal can take solace from their performance against Manchester United on Sunday. Man United beat the Gunners 3-1 at Old Trafford to record their fourth consecutive Premier League victory. Arsenal played well in the game, and remain on top of the table despite the loss. Keane, however, dismissed suggestions that Mikel Arteta's side could be consoled by their display in the match.

On Sky Sports following the match, Paul Merson said that his former club were 'the better team for most of the game.' "Yeah, I'm shocked, but there are ways of losing matches and I think there are a lot of positives for Arsenal to take today," Merson said. "Bar the first 10 minutes of the game, the next 50 minutes, I thought Arsenal dominated it. "They went 1-0 down but they came out for the second half and it became too easy for them. It goes to 1-1 and you just think about concentration levels - they're dominating but they get caught with a sucker punch.
