Two games in less than 24 hours? Easy for Roy Carroll.
Roy Carroll, the former Manchester United goalkeeper, starts today for Notts County... less than 24 hours after playing for Northern Ireland away in Romania. The veteran netminder featured in last night's 2-0 loss, hopped on a 5am flight and made it back to England in time for today's League One fixture with Coventry. The 37-year old 'keeper was man of the match for Northern Ireland and kept a clean sheet in his side's 1-0 win. Showing no signs of being jaded from trekking across the best part of a continent between games.
Roy landed this morning and plays!
