It's hard not to like him.

Rodgers drags him away from St. Mary's where he was lighting the place up, he brings him to his boyhood club, and then leaves him on the bench. Even in the lengthy absence of Daniel Sturridge, in the glaring lack of firepower, and the run of poor form, Rickie Lambert remained an afterthought brought in from time to time as mere lip service. Finally, he gets his chance.  He takes his chance. The Scouser's goal tonight in Ludogorets wasn't just a crucial response for a Liverpool side not knowing where the next result was coming from.  It wasn't just his second in as many games.  It was another little piece of history. Rickie Lambert has now scored a goal in each of League Two, League One, the Championship, the Premier League and now the Champions League - as well as the League Cup and FA Cup just for the craic. Fair play, Rickie.  You seem sound.
