Everton's Richarlison was quick on the scene to kick Liverpool while they were down on Sunday afternoon.
Minutes after it was confirmed that Liverpool had missed out on the Premier League title, the Everton forward, having already called out Jamie Carragher earlier in the week, fired another not-so-subtle tweet.
Manchester City clinched the title in dramatic circumstances.
Manchester City clinched the title on a dramatic final day as they came from two goals down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
Liverpool themselves were also victorious with a 3-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers but their hopes of earning a quadruple wasn't to be as City's comeback meant they finished ahead of the Reds by a point.
But Richarlison wasn't feeling any sympathy for his city rivals. The Brazilian posted a GIF which showed Thierry Henry trying to hold back laughter. We all got the message.

What was social media's reaction?
The reference was obviously in recognition of Liverpool's failed title challenge and fans of the Reds were keen to remind the forward of how 'well' Everton's season had gone.
One supporter tweeted: "Posted this right after being battered 5-1 as well this guy well and truly has no shame hahahah."

Another person said: "Someone tell the grown man that calls himself a pigeon that we’re still on for a treble."
A third user tweeted: "How embarrassing is this guy? You were in a relegation race all season lol."

The Toffees were beaten 5-1 on the final day of the season away to Arsenal just days after they secured their Premier League fate with a 3-2 win against Crystal Palace in midweek.
