Republic of Ireland international Cyrus Christie thanks fans after leaving Middlesbrough

The defender joined Fulham on transfer deadline day.

Cyrus Christie has thanked Middlesbrough fans after joining Championship rivals Fulham. The Republic of Ireland international penned a three-and-a-half-year deal at Craven Cottage after making 26 appearances for Boro. The 25-year-old only joined Tony Pulis' side in the summer after a three-year stay at Derby County.

“Cyrus is a fantastic young player who brings both an international pedigree and a wealth of Championship experience with him," Fulham director of football, Tony Khan said.
