The fans asked for Massimo Cellino to leave and it seems that they may have gotten what they wished for.
Early on Friday, the controversial chairman revealed that he had met with supporter group Leeds Fans United to discuss the possibility of parting with his majority stake in the club who currently find themselves in 18th place in the Championship.
"100% I will sell to the fans," Cellino told BBC Radio Leeds. "If they want to buy it and look after the club. The fans are the only asset the club has."
Later that day, the fan group took to Twitter to reveal that the wheels had been put in motion for the fans to take control of the Yorkshire club.

Cellino is currently appealing the second ban he's received from the Football League for breaching the Football League’s owners’ and directors’ rules.

But who knows?
This could be the much-needed glimmer of light in the ever-darkening room that has been Leeds United as of late.
