REPORT: Alvaro Morata will only sign for Manchester United if Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn’t

Manchester United fans - would you prefer a proven front man with bags of flair, star power and experience or a young talent expected to develop into one of the most exciting strikers in the world?

Because apparently that's a choice that Jose Mourinho is being forced to mull over in his first days as United manager. According to reports in Italy, Alvaro Morata will only consider reuniting with Mourinho in the Premier League on the condition that the much-discussed Zlatan Ibrahimovic deal doesn't go ahead. Onda Cero, via Gazzetta dello Sport, claim that the forward, who has impressed in his two seasons with Juventus, would not be happy to play second fiddle to the Swedish legend. Morata was given his Real Madrid debut by Mourinho in 2010 and it's understood that the new Red Devils boss wants to bring the Spaniard in to shore up his front line at Old Trafford if Real do decide to move the player on for a massive profit after activating the buy-back clause placed in Morata's contract when he left the Bernabeu in 2014. It's expected that the La Liga giants are going to exercise that option but sell Morata in the same transfer window. It's also reported that the 23-year-old would prefer to move to United rather than Arsenal or Chelsea, who have also been linked with the player expected to command a transfer fee of around €50 million. So, Mr Mourinho, the ball is in your court. Ibrahimovic or Morata?
