Remi Garde's time at Villa Park is apparently up after just a few months at the helm.
The Frenchman took over the job in November after Tim Sherwood was dismissed following a poor start to the season.
In the four and a half months since his appointment, the former Arsenal defender has been unable to stop the rot as Villa have slumped to their worst ever Premier League campaign.
The club now find themselves 12 points from safety with just seven games remaining and are all but certain to drop out of England's top tier for the first time since the 1987/88 season.
