Raul Meireles is missing Steven Gerrard's charity match against a Jamie Carragher XI but the former Reds midfielder took time out to lend his support to the good cause. Meireles was interviewed on LFCTV as part of the build-up for the fundraiser at Anfield, this afternoon. His choice of attire was bafflingly haphazard. Porkpie hat, medical gown/t-shirt, tattoo sleeves and a Rasputin beard. It is certainly one way to roll. Raul Mereiles This afternoon will reveal whether either Carragher or Gerrard bothered picking up the phone to replace the ailing Meireles with keen-as-mustard Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio. As for the match itself, the team sheet was revealed shortly after 1:40pm and there was a couple of bombshells. Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres start on the bench for the Gerrard XI. Scandaloso!
