Rangers fans are getting excited about the return of former fan favourite Pedro Mendes

Pedro Mendes may have only played 50 games for Rangers, but he made a big impression with the Scottish club.

The Portuguese international, part of Porto's Champions League winning squad in 2004, won the SPL in his only full season in Glasgow. The pair were watching the Scottish Premiership meeting with Celtic from the stands at Parkhead, helping them develop an idea of the scale of the task facing them this season and beyond.
