Here's a question: what the hell are we going to do in the summer of 2022?
We've gotten use to our biannual international dosage of summer football and now it looks like it's about to be confirmed that Qatar are going to ruin it all.
According to Sports Illustrated, the next next World Cup is set to take place in November and December with the FIFA Executive Committee confirming its final decision next month in Zurich.
People have said that it wasn't feasible to plant the tournament in the middle of most of the world's seasons but there is a way.
And, whilst he wrote it over a year ago now, Rob Harris's theory of how the whole thing could play out is brilliant. The English journalist is some sort of a psychic and he mapped out how the 2022/23 season could go down with the World Cup in between and it really isn't all that bad.
