Jordan Flores is competing with Son Heung-min and Luis Suarez for the prestigious Puskas Award, the best goals scored in world football at any level in 2020.
The Dundalk midfielder is amongst 11 candidates to be recognised for pieces of art that will be preserved in time regardless of medals or results or any of that. These were just moments of pure magic and it's only right that Flores' piece of beauty is being considered.
Back in February at Tallaght Stadium, Flores connected with a Michael Duffy corner as well as anyone has ever caught a ball as he acrobatically met it in the air above his shoulder, almost martial arts sequel.
The result was a pile-driver off his left boot and a screamer right into the net.
Always look for more angles when the joy is this much.

FIFA unveiled their list of nominees on Wednesday morning and, alongside Flores, some absolute belters are being honoured, including Son's solo run of the entire pitch against Burnley and Luis Suarez's back heel for Barcelona against Mallorca.
