Sky Sports are reporting that Liverpool have been approached over signing Ireland keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Corkman is highly rated despite being behind arguably the world's best in Allison at the Reds.
It comes with the news that the Bees' first-choice keeper, Mark Flekken, looks to be heading to Bayer Leverkusen.
After winning the Premier League with Liverpool this season, Kelleher was fairly definite that he wants a move to a club where he will be top dog.
He said recently: “I think I’ve said it before that I feel like I’m a No 1, I think I’m good enough to play week-in week-out, and that’s what I’m looking to do.”
He added: “This season, I was lucky enough to play a lot of games but definitely something I’m looking at.”
Brentford would be an excellent move for the 26-year-old.
They finished in an impressive 10th spot in the Premier League this season, and are managed by the highly-rated Thomas Frank.
