It's just seven years since the Foxes were scrapping away in the third tier of English football, but now know only a spectacular collapse will deny them league glory in England's highest division for the first time ever. And while their unlikely run to the title has been quite lucrative for fans who backed their side - as well as Claudio Ranieri himself - spare a thought for John Micklethwait. But the likes of Jamie Vardy and PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez have fired the Foxes to within an inch of Premier League glory, as they now find themselves seven points clear at the top with just three games remaining. Had Micklethwait - who is the editor-in-chief of American media company Bloomberg - remembered to put on his customary bet, he would be preparing for a £100,000 payout.
