If you watched the recent BBC documentary on Wayne Rooney, you probably gathered he was a bit of a Lothario.

We found out that the Manchester United striker writes poetry to wife Coleen and even proposed to her on the forecourt of a petrol station, the old romantic. So one fan thought it was a sure-fire winner to employ some of Rooney's boundless charm and charisma to win the affections of girls on Tinder. Using only the footballer's old tweets as chat up lines, @Billie_T must have thought he was in there. But just like Rooney's current form, he played an absolute clanger.
