The overriding emotion in the office when we saw the new Bayern Munich kit was "yera sure tis grand I suppose."
So "grand I suppose," is it that there's not a whole lot else to say about it except that it's plain. Very plain. The home jersey has two tones of red, with not even the adidas stripes deviating from the colour scheme.
Still though, Xabi Alonso pulls it off like only Xabi Alonso can.
