So many big names from that team, over 16 years on
Team reunions are nothing new but when a group of players as special as the French team of the late 1990s get together it is worth celebrating. World Cup winners in 1998 and European champs two years later, they really were a superb team, stuffed with genuine superstars in virtually every position.
So when Zinedine Zidane posted this great snap to his Instagram account last night, showing the bulk of the 1998 World Cup winning side getting together for a meal in Paris, it brought back a lot of good memories for us.
