PIC: Thomas Vermaelen pulls half a John Terry by celebrating in a Barcelona jersey

The fact that Thomas Vermaelen made the decision to celebrate in a Barcelona jersey despite playing exactly zero minutes for the club has given us a nasty case of douche-chills.

The former Arsenal man has yet to feature for the Catalans, who secured the La Liga title with a 1-0 victory over holders Atletico Madrid this evening, but that didn't stop him for breaking out this jersey and jeans get-up after the final whistle. We love the fact that Vermaelen was likely offered a pair of shorts to go along with his jersey but probably responded with "ah no, I won't wear the shorts. That's be embarrassing." The Vermaelen defenders among you will point out that Suarez, who was injured and did not feature tonight, also took to the pitch in jeans and a club top but it's a little different considering the fact that the Uruguayan played a significant part in Barca's title run while Vermaelen has mainly been playing FIFA for the last year.
