Newcastle's Ryan Taylor has just endured every player's worst nightmare. After a torrid two-and-a-half years out fo football with two knee injuries, he made his first start for Newcastle today against QPR.
It was on March 4, 2012, against Sunderland, that he last started a league game but his return was short lived as a little over 30 minutes into today's game, Taylor was forced off.
As you might imagine, Taylor was very upset and our own Richard Dunne was one of the opposition player's to try and offer Taylor some support, as was Joey Barton.
Classy stuff and we really hope that Taylor's injury is not too serious this time.
