Neymar is expected to miss the first fortnight of the season as he recovers from the viral disease but teammate and close friend Dani Alves has absolutely no sympathy for his fellow countryman as he mocked Neymar, saying "at the end of the day, those are things that happen to a kid."
We hope that he recovers soon and doesn't endure the 10-year mumps cycle that Ronaldo has presumably been going through.
