For those Liverpool supporters wondering where on earth their "beloved" Mario Balotelli was last night, wonder no more.

Brendan Rodgers revealed that a high fever had ruled his misfiring striker out of the Reds' FA Cup quarter-final replay against Blackburn. And for any cynics who believe that the Italian was faking it so he could stay at home and play Playstation or dye his mohawk, Balotelli has provided some very real proof that he was poorly with this Instagram post after the game.
