Mario Balotelli remains on the sidelines for Liverpool, in every sense. A groin injury picked up while playing for Italy has not healed so he is definitely out of tomorrow night's game with Leicester. That also means that his quest for a first Premier League goal will continue for a while longer.

As we say, he might as well try anything at this stage.
